- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
- 2 to 3 lb. chicken, cooked, boned and diced
- 1 pkg. corn tortillas
- 1 lb. grated Longhorn or Velveeta cheese
Directions

1Brown onions in butter; combine with soups, broth, chilies and chicken.

2Mix well.

3Place layer of tortillas in 9 x 11 x 2-inch baking dish.

4Top with layer of chicken mixture and then a layer of cheese.

5Repeat all three layers until dish is filled, ending with cheese.

6Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes.
