- 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut in strips, poached and drained
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 4 oz. onion, chopped
- 1 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. chicken base
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cooking sherry
- black pepper to taste
- 1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 c. nonfat yogurt
Directions

1Melt margarine in skillet.

2Add onion and mushrooms and saute until tender.

3Add 1 cup water, chicken base, pepper and sherry, then simmer.

4Blend cornstarch and water until smooth.

5Add to sauce while stirring and cook until thickened.

6Turn off heat. Stir in yogurt and chicken strips.

7Serve over rice or noodles. Makes 4 servings.
