  • 6 lb. hen
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 1 large or 2 small boxes egg noodles
  • 2 can LeSueur peas
  • 2 jars cut-up mushrooms
  • 5 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 onion

Directions

    Boil hen with onion, celery, salt and pepper to taste.

    When done, remove meat from bone.

    Save stock.

    Cook noodles in broth as directed on package.

    Add peas, and mushrooms (cut up); add eggs (cut up) and add chicken.

    Sprinkle in garlic salt.

    Heat in double boiler as it burns easy.

    Tastes better if made a day ahead.
