- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. oil or shortening
- 1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. poultry seasoning or sage
- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. frying chicken
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 1 Tbsp. or 1/2 c. chopped onion
Directions

1In paper bag, combine flour, salt and pepper.

2Shake chicken in and brown in oil.

3Combine other ingredients in large skillet; mix with chicken.

4Cover with foil.

5Bake at 375° for 55 to 60 minutes, or until done.
