  • 1 large fryer, cut up
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 medium onion
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Grease a baking dish with butter.

    Spread with rice.

    Smooth soup over rice and pour over 1 1/4 cans water. Top with chicken, salted and peppered, skin side up. Cover and bake at 325° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
