  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 1/2 c. long grain rice
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 c. water
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. saffron, crushed
  • 1 c. frozen peas
  • 1 (2 oz.) can pimientos (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
