Chickpeas With Pasta

- 1 can Progresso chickpeas
- 1/4 lb. linguini or spaghettini
- 3 c. water
- 4 whole garlic cloves, slit
- salt and pepper to taste
- dash of oregano
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/4 c. spaghetti sauce (any kind)
Directions

1Pour all contents from chickpeas, including liquid, into 6 or 8-cup saucepan.

2Add 3 cups water, garlic, salt, pepper, oil, sauce and oregano.

3Simmer until chickpeas are tender, about 30 minutes.

4Cook pasta separately and drain well.

5Add to main ingredients when done.

6Let simmer another 5 minutes so the pasta will absorb the flavor.
