  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. almond flavoring
  • 7 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar

    Separate eggs.

    Sift together dry ingredients.

    Beat egg yolks and add remainder of ingredients.

    In another bowl, mix egg whites with 1 teaspoon cream of tartar.

    Beat until it forms peaks.

    Fold into other mixture.

    Pour into greased tube pan. Bake at 325° for 50 minutes and 350° for 10 minutes.
