- 6 slices bread, buttered
- 2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 c. Jack cheese, grated
- 6 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1 can chiles (whole)
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
Directions

1Trim crusts from bread.

2Place buttered side down in 11 x 7 x 2-inch dish.

3Top with chiles and cheese.

4Beat eggs until frothy. Add remaining ingredients.

5Mix well.

6Pour over casserole.

7Cover and chill overnight (for at least 4 hours).

8Uncover and bake at 325° for 50 to 55 minutes until lightly browned.

9Let stand 10 minutes.
