- 1 lb. hamburger
- 32 oz. can pinto beans
- 1 qt. tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 large onion, finely minced
Directions

1Brown ground beef in 1 teaspoon oil.

2In a separate pan, brown onion in 1 teaspoon oil.

3When onion is browned, add vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, chili powder and garlic powder.

4Stir well. Drain and mash 1 quart of tomatoes and add to mixture along with beef and beans.

5Simmer on low heat for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6Serves 6 to 8.
