- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 pkg. chili mix
- 2 to 2 1/2 c. water
- 3 cans (14 1/2 oz.) whole tomatoes, undrained
- 3 cans kidney beans (undrained)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. chili powder to taste
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Brown beef in skillet; drain.

2In large pot or crock-pot stir in chili mix, ground beef, water, tomatoes, and beans, onion. Bring to a boil, stir in chili powder, salt, pepper, and simmer for 45 minutes.

3Makes 15 to 20 servings depending on size of bowl.
