- 1/2 lb. dry pinto or kidney beans
- 2 c. water
- 2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes
- 1 lb. browned ground chuck
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
Directions

1Soak dry beans in water overnight.

2Put all ingredients in crock-pot in order listed.

3Stir once.

4Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours (high 5 to 6 hours; only if canned beans are used). When using canned beans (2 one pound cans), drain liquid.
