Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 bag Carol Shelby Texas Chili Making
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 3 small cans red beans, 1 drained and 2 undrained (optional - you can mix red/dark/pinto for the red beans)
  • 3/4 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes with juices
  • pepper

Directions

    Brown meat with onions and peppers.

    Drain well.

    Return to large sauce pan and add all other ingredients.

    Simmer on low for 1 to 2 hours.

    Watch closely, it can burn to the bottom of the pan easily.

    Will freeze well.
