- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 16 oz. can whole tomatoes
- 15 oz. can kidney beans (undrained)
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 3 oz. can tomato sauce
- salt to taste (optional)
Directions

1In large skillet, brown beef, onion, green pepper.

2Drain excess fat.

3Break up whole tomatoes.

4Stir in remaining ingredients.

5Cook in a Dutch oven at 350°until bubbly.

6Stir to keep from burning. If hotter chili desired, add hot peppers (bottled) and some of the pepper juice to suit your own taste. Serves 5 to 6 persons.
