- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 1 c. warm water
- 3/4 c. cooking oil
- 6 1/2 to 7 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Combine buttermilk, yeast and cooking oil; add flour.

2Mix until dough is in a ball.

3Pinch off dough to make biscuits. Place in lightly greased pan.

4Bake at 350° until brown.

5Store remaining dough in an airtight container in refrigerator.
