  • 1 1/2 lb. pkg. ground round
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can Campbell's tomato soup
  • 1 can water
  • 1 (16 oz.) can Contadina stewed tomatoes
  • 1 medium can dark red kidney beans
  • 1/4 c. Heinz catsup
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Mexene chili powder

Directions

    Into a 2-quart pot, first add sauteed onion.

    Brown and drain the meat; add to pot.

    Then add tomato soup and chili powder. Simmer 10 minutes.

    Add kidney beans, stewed tomatoes, catsup and sugar.

    Mix together and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.

    Serve.
