- 1 large onion
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 qt. tomato juice
- 1 tsp. salt (rounded)
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1/2 lb. spaghetti
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder (or more if you wish)
- 2 tsp. butter
Directions

1Cut up onion and

2brown in butter.

3Add hamburger; stir and cook until no longer red.

4Add tomato juice and salt.

5Cook slowly, about 1/2 hour.

6Add kidney beans.

7Break up and add spaghetti.

8Cook slowly until soft.

9Add water, if necessary.

10Add chili powder last.

11Allow about 1 hour or longer to make, stirring occasionally.

12Can be reheated or can be frozen for later use.
