- 1/4 c. olive oil,
- 6 Tbsp. chili powder
- 3 Tbsp. paprika
- 10 cloves garlic, finely chopped or 1 Tbsp. powder
- 2 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. powdered oregano
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 cans pinto beans (optional)
Directions

1In 6-quart pot over high heat, sear meat in olive oil until gray, not brown.

2Add 1 quart water; mix well and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

3Pour off all water; add all seasonings to meat in the 6-quart pot.

4Add 1 quart water.

5Simmer 30 minutes and adjust taste.

6Add cayenne pepper for heat.

7Thicken with cornmeal blended with water into a paste and stir well.

8Add beans for added flavor and shredded cheese to make it even better.
