- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. hamburger
- 3 tall cans kidney beans
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 10 to 12 oz. Campbell's tomato juice
- 4 Tbsp. chili powder
- salt to taste
- black pepper
Directions

1Cook onion in small amount of oil for 5 minutes.

2Crumble hamburger and brown.

3Add tomato paste, kidney beans, juice and seasonings.

4Add 1/2 can water.

5Cook at least one hour, stirring often.

6Chili should be very thick.

7Serves 6 to 8 people.
