- 2 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 small bud garlic or garlic powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 oz. pkg. Williams chili seasoning
- 1 qt. (32 oz.) tomato juice
- 1 pt. water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Cook beef in large kettle until it loses its red color.

2Add salt, pepper, sugar and chopped onion.

3Add tomato juice, water and chili seasoning; stir until dissolved.

4Cook slowly, about 30 minutes, then simmer about an hour or two.

5Add beans just before serving.

6Do not cook with chili.
