Ingredients

  • 1 can Hanover chili beans
  • 1 or 2 patties ground chuck (depending on how much meat you want)
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • red pepper
  • salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/3 onion, diced

Directions

    Brown meat and onion; drain grease.

    Add soup, sauce and beans.

    Rinse each can, leaving about 1/4 can of water in can. Add to mixture.

    Add pepper (red and black), salt and chili powder to mixture.

    Bring mixture to a boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for about 1 hour.
