Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. corn oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. cumin seed
- 2 c. hot water
- juice of 1 lime
- 2 c. pinto beans, cooked (optional)
Directions

1Brown meat in oil; add garlic and onion.

2Mix together chili powder, flour, salt, pepper, oregano and cumin seed and add to meat mixture.

3Add water and lime juice.

4Simmer, covered, for 1 to 2 hours.

5Add beans if desired.

6Serve.
