- 1 lb. pinto beans
- 2 lb. lean hamburger meat
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. cumin
- 1/8 tsp. ginger
- 1 pkg. Schilling chili mix
- 1 can tomato sauce
Directions

1Pick out bad beans and wash.

2Cover with cold water and soak overnight.

3Drain, then put into crock-pot.

4Cover again with cold water.

5Cook on low until tender.

6Fry hamburger meat and onion until meat is lightly brown.

7Add remaining ingredients.

8Add meat mixture to beans and cook slow another 30 minutes to 1 hour.

9Add salt if needed.
