- 1 1/2 c. fine saltine cracker crumbs
- 6 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp. taco seasoning
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp. granulated garlic
- 3 eggs
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
- 2 Tbsp. very finely chopped onion
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Bring cheeses to room temperature. Combine crumbs and margarine in an 8-inch square pan.

3Press onto the bottom and up the sides of the pan, forming a crust.

4Bake for 10 minutes and set aside.

5Reduce oven heat to 250°.

6In a large mixing bowl, blend cheeses at medium speed.

7Add cayenne and garlic.

8Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Fold in chilies and onion.

9Pour into prepared crust and bake 1 hour until set.

10Cool and cut into 1-inch squares.

11Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled.
