- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 envelope chili seasoning mix
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Brown ground beef in skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain. Add onion and pepper.

2Cook for several minutes, stirring frequently.

3Stir in salt, seasoning mix and tomato sauce.

4Spoon into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

5Combine muffin mix and evaporated milk.

6Spread evenly over casserole.

8Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
