Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 2 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
  • 2 c. kidney beans (canned)
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 1 1/2 c. uncooked macaroni
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 or 2 Tbsp. chili powder

Directions

    Brown beef. Add onion and cook until slightly browned.

    Stir in tomatoes, beans and water.

    Bring to a boil. Add uncooked macaroni and seasonings. Stir well.

    Lower heat to simmer.

    Cover and cook until macaroni is done.

    Stir occasionally during cooking.
