- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion
- 2 c. macaroni
- 2 cans dark red kidney beans
- 1 can tomato juice
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Brown ground beef in skillet.

2Boil macaroni until tender. Add chopped onion to ground beef just before it is done browning. In a large kettle over low heat, combine tomato juice, chili powder and salt.

3Allow to start simmering.

4Once it is simmering, add ground beef with onion and kidney beans.

5Cook over very low heat for 1 hour.

6Top with shredded cheese and serve.
