- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes*
- 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 to 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
Directions

1Crumble ground beef into 2-quart casserole.

2Microwave on High for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 minutes until meat is almost cooked.

3Pour off fat.

4Break up meat into smaller pieces.

5Stir in raw vegetables. Microwave 4 to 5 minutes until vegetables are tender.

6Stir in remaining ingredients.

7Cover.
-
8Microwave 5 minutes at High. Remove cover and stir.

9Microwave, uncovered, at 50% power (medium) for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring at least once.

10Serves 2 quarts.
