  • 1 1/2 cups chili beans
  • 1 onion
  • 1 chopped green pepper with seeds
  • I # ground beef
  • 1 #2 1/2 can tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 t salt 1/8 t paprika and cayenne
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 -2 T chili pwdr

    Soak beans overnight-cook in boiling salt water til tender

    Brown onion,pepper and meat
  3. 3
    Add tomato and seasoning and beans.

    Simmer 2 hours- add water if necessary.
