- 4 teaspoons butter or 4 teaspoons margarine, softened (butter preferred)
- 1 dash ground cinnamon
- 1 dash ground nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup rum
- lemon slice (optional)
Directions

1In a 2-cup measure stir together the brown sugar, butter or margarine, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

2Stir in the warm water.

3Microwave, uncovered, on 100% power for 3 to 4 minutes or until steaming hot.

4Stir in the rum.

5Serve in mugs.

6Garnish with lemon slices, if desired.
