- 2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (8 oz.)
- 1/4 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 c. chopped canned chili peppers
- assorted crackers
Directions

1Advance preparation:

2Bring Cheddar cheese to room temperature.

3Heat milk to boiling; pour over cheese in mixing bowl.

4Beat with electric mixer until nearly smooth.

5Add butter and garlic; beat well.

6Stir in chopped chili peppers.

7(Mixture will be thin.)

8Chill well.

9Serve with crackers.

10Makes 1 1/2 cups spread.
