- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti, broken up
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 2 lb. hamburger
- 3 medium onions, chopped
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 (4 oz.) jar pimentos, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- pepper
Directions

1Cook spaghetti, not quite done.

2Set aside.

3In large heavy saucepan, melt shortening; add chopped onions and cook until tender.

4Add hamburger and brown.

5Add soup, tomatoes, mushroom with liquid, pimentos, chili powder, salt, sugar and pepper.

6Add drained spaghetti.

7Simmer on low 30 minutes.

8Watch closely so it doesn't burn.

9Better if sits awhile.

10Serve with garlic bread and salad.
