- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 6 cans whole green chilies
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 3/4 lb. Monterey Jack cheese
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 1 (7 oz.) jar chili sauce
Directions

1Brown meat and drain fat.

2Add chili powder and pepper. Grease a 9 x 12-inch pan.

3Put a layer of split green chilies, cheese, meat, another layer of chilies, cheese and meat.

4Mix eggs and sour cream.

5Pour on top of meat.

6Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Pour sauce over and heat 5 minutes.

7Serves 8 people. Good at brunch or supper.
