- 1 1/3 cups rice
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups boiling water
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 4 celery ribs, chopped
- 2 green peppers, chopped
Directions

1In a large skillet, cook the rice in oil over medium heat, stirring, until golden brown.( About 7 minutes.).

2Add salt, water, bouillon and soy sauce.

3Cover tightly and simmer 20 minutes.

4Brown ground beef. Drain.

5Stir meat, onions, celery and green pepper into rice.

6Cover and simmer 10 minutes longer or until all liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
