- 1 large piece sirloin steak (for 3 to 4 servings)
- 1 medium onion
- 1 small can water chestnuts
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- flour or cornstarch to thicken sauce
- 3 stalks celery
- garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste
- 1 small can mushrooms
- 1/2 pkg. frozen pea pods
- 1 Tbsp. Gravy Master
Directions

1Slice steak in thin slices; chop celery and onion.

2Saute in frying pan with a little oil 3 to 4 minutes.

3Add a little water to pan.

4Add garlic, salt and pepper and 2 bouillon cubes and bring to a boil.

5Lower the heat and let simmer, while adding the mushrooms and water chestnuts.

6Let simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.

7Thicken with flour or cornstarch.

8Add the soy sauce and Gravy Master.

9Then add the pea pods (just to heat through, do not cook).
