Ingredients

  • 1 lb. mild sausage
  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped with tops on
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1 large bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 box wild rice (don't use seasoning pkg.)
  • 1 box Lipton noodle soup
  • sliced water chestnuts
  • sliced almonds
  • 4 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Brown sausage and remove from fat.

    Saute vegetables in fat. Add soup and rice to 4 1/2 cups of water.

    Cook until done.

    Drain off excess water.

    Add vegetables and water chestnuts to sausage. Put in large casserole dish.

    Top with almonds.

    Bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes.
