- country ribs (select number needed)
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 cloves
- 1 small onion, quartered
- 1 c. ketchup
- 1/2 c. beef bouillon
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. powdered ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Directions

1Cover ribs with cold water.

2Add bay leaf, cloves and onion. Bring to a boil and simmer 40 minutes.

3Make sauce with rest of ingredients.

4Dip ribs in sauce while they are hot.

5Coat ribs; let cool to room temperature.

6After 1 hour, dab with sauce again. Bake 15 minutes at 425°; turn heat down to 325° and bake 30 to 45 minutes longer.
