Ingredients
- 8 loin chops
- salt
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. orange juice
- 1 lemon, unpeeled and sliced
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 can sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 (4 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Season chops well with salt and brown on both sides in oil.

3Place chops in baking dish; cover with onions. Combine soy sauce, orange and lemon juices, mushrooms, ginger and garlic powder; pour over chops.

4Cover and bake 35 minutes.

5Add green pepper, chestnuts and lemon slices.

6Bake, uncovered, 15 minutes longer.

7Serve with rice.
