  • 1 lb. green beans
  • 2 Tbsp. each: soy sauce and water
  • 1 tsp. each: cornstarch and brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. dark sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 2 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. each: minced garlic and ginger

Directions

    Place beans in vegetable steamer and steam for 6 minutes or until crisp-tender.

    Cool under cool running water and drain.

    Mix soy sauce, water, cornstarch, sugar, sesame oil and crushed red pepper in a small bowl until the cornstarch is well blended.
