- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (15 ounce) can ranch style beans
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 3 chipotle chiles in adobo, chopped
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 3 teaspoons garlic, minced
Directions

1In a large deep dish, nonstick skillet or pot, brown ground beef with onion and salt.

2Add tomatoes, beans, chicken broth, water, chilies, chili powder and garlic, stir together and bring to a boil.

3Reduce heat and let simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
