- 10 tbsp (1 1/4 sticks) butter
- 8 oz good-quality semi-sweet chocolate
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 None eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup flour, sifted
- 3/4 cup macadamias or pecans
- None None Powdered sugar, to dust
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 10-inch square baking pan.

2Melt butter and chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar, vanilla, eggs, flour and nuts until just combined. Pour mixture into prepared pan.

3Bake for 25-30 mins, or until set. Do not overcook; the top should be soft to touch and brownies will firm as they cool, but they should be moist and fudge-like.

4Cool in pan on a wire rack. Cut into squares and dust with powdered sugar.
