  • 1 cup vegatable oil or melted butter
  • 2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup cocoa

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 180oC.

    Grease a 9x13 inch baking tray.

    Blend together the oil, sugar and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl.

    Add the eggs into the mixture and beat well with a wooden spoon.

    In a seperate bowl combine the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.

    Gradually add the mixture to the egg mixture and mix until well blended.

    When both mixtures are well combined spread the mixture in the baking tray.

    Finally bake for 15-20 minutes.
