  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Place the first four ingredients in a saucepan and barely bring to a boil.

    Pour this over sugar, salt and flour.
  3. 3
    Mix and add eggs, soda, buttermilk and vanilla. Bake at 350° for about 25 minutes.
