  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. water
  • 5 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Heat to melt the first four ingredients in saucepan.

    Mix next three ingredients in a bowl.

    Pour melted ingredients into dry ingredients in bowl.

    Beat well, adding milk, eggs and baking soda. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.

    Cool.
