  • 2 blocks oleo
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 c. cake flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions

    Mix flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa.

    Sift together. Cream the oleo, Crisco and sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time. Start with flour and milk and end with flour.

    Mix well and put in tube cake pan. Cook at 325° for 1 hour or until done.
