- 2 sticks margarine
- 1 c. water
- 4 tsp. cocoa
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 well beaten eggs
- 1 c. sour cream
Directions

1Put margarine, water and cocoa in a 3-quart saucepan and boil 3 minutes.

2Remove from heat and cool to touch.

3When cool, add sugar, soda, flour, salt, eggs and sour cream.

4Beat with a wire whisk until smooth.

5Place in a large greased pan.

6Grease both bottom and sides.
-
7Bake at 350° for 28 minutes.

8Best frosting for cake is 1 tub of Betty Crocker milk chocolate frosting.
