  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream the shortening and sugar.

    Add eggs and beat well.

    Mix together the flour, soda and baking powder; add alternately with chocolate paste. Add vanilla.

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
