  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 1 cup flour sifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • non dairy topping Whipped, thawed
  • chocolate syrup

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Mix together 1/2 cup sugar, cocoa, 1/4 cup milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and the nuts.

    Mix together butter and remaining sugar until blended.

    Beat in egg and vanilla.

    Sift together flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture along with milk.
