- German chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 c. melted oleo
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 large pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 c. blanched peanuts
- 14 oz. bag caramels
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
Directions

1Beat together cake mix, melted oleo and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.

2Stir peanuts into mixture and press 1/2 of it in a 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan.

3Bake at 350° for 5 minutes.

4Melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk in double boiler.

5After cake comes out of oven, sprinkle chocolate chips on top and pour caramel mix on top.

6Crumble remaining 1/2 cake mix on top.

7Bake 15 minutes at 350°.
