- 1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. margarine, softened
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
- 2 egg whites
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate mini morsels
- vegetable cooking spray
Directions

1Cream margarine and the next 2 ingredients at medium speed of an electric mixer until light and fluffy.

2Add egg whites and vanilla; beat well.

3Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture, beating well.

4Stir in chocolate morsels.

5Press cookie dough into the bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan coated with cooking spray.

6Bake at 375° for 10 minutes.

7Cool in pan.

8Yields 4 dozen (serving size is 1 bar).
